About us

Pékpont was founded in 1997, and developed continuously in the years to come, extending its portfolio. As a result of a greenfield investment, it opened a new production plant and company headquarters in Szigetszentmiklós in 2004. Besides this plant, there are further production facilities in the country, in Dunaföldvár and Kétegyháza.

Perhaps the most well-known product in its bread portfolio is Paillasse, a premium quality sourdough bread line, but the Nostalgia cocoa and cinnamon swirls, and the savoury scone portfolio are also very successful on the market.

Bake-off products – that is, pre-baked and frozen bakery products – are offered by Pékpont for many years now, that are especially easy to handle for retailers in-store.

The products of Pékpont are a very good match with La Lorraine’s product portfolio, and a merged product range offers everything that could be important for both Hungarian consumers and for retail and foodservice customers: products of the latest international trends, health-conscious products, sourdough products, and traditional, local bakery products.

Traditions and local production are very important for the new company. 

Our local facilities and our employees observe all the Hungarian food safety and environmental regulations, they operate based on the HACCP system, and also comply with La Lorraine international quality standards.
